February Favourites

I’m not sure if I’m going to do a blog post for every favourites that I have but I felt like it this month so here we go! I am so sorry that my favourites are all over the place and I’ve just put in some random things haha.

My first favourite are two things that are just so obviously everybody’s favourites of the moment. The Anastasia X Amrezy highlighter and the soft glam pallet, both are beautiful and both deserve a huge shoutout. Personally I had never bought a pallet from Anastasia till now because I didn’t think it would be worth it unless it was one that I could wear every day, and lets be real the shades in the pallet are wearable for every day but also you can glam it up for the evening thats why I love it so so much! The shadows are so creamy and lovely you hardly need any product on your brush to achieve so much pigment.

The highlighter is stunning, it’s such a pretty and in my opinion a unique colour, I don’t have anything quite like it in my collection, it’s just perfectly between gold and champagne colour and lets be real the packaging of the product is stunning.

highlightMy next beauty favourite is something I never really thought I’d love but I have fallen in love with the precisely my brow from Benefit. The reason I love it so much is because it’s teeny tiny like even smaller than my Anastasia Brow Wiz meaning that you can really precisely define your brows (hence the name). The spoolie in my opinion is a bit too hard just compared to other brow products that I have but I would prefer it this side of the scale instead of it being too flimsy and soft.

Another Benefit product I’ve been loving this month is my Hoola bronzer, I tried out the Hoola light this month and if I’m being completely honest I’m not the biggest fan (yet) but I’ll have to use it more and see how I go. However using the Hoola light has honestly just made me fall back in love with my original Hoola. Sometimes when you’re trying so many different products you just forget about some old favourites and I’m happy I’ve rediscovered my Hoola again.

ANOTHER Benefit product that everyone has been talking about and I’m totally jumping on that hype is the Bad Gal Bang Mascara. It genuinely is so black and lengthens and volumises my lashes so much. Now I’m not usually a fan of this type of formula but something in the Bad Gal Bang is incredible it feels completely weightless on the lashes and if you haven’t got it you need it in your life.

Another thing I’ve been loving is my collection perfection lasting concealer. Now I will be honest with you to start with I wasn’t on the hype with this concealer. I thought it was too thick and looked cakey underneath my eyes. However I’ve started using smaller amounts and using it with a beauty blender definitely helps, in the shade fair it’s the perfect brightening shade and has quite decent coverage especially for the price.

I’ve been loving two skincare products this month one being the Drying Lotion from Mario Badescu and the other being the Nip and Fab Glycolic Night Pads. They are both incredible for texture and spots which is what I struggle with most on my skin. I’ve been breaking out in the weirdest places and the drying lotion just helps get rid of my spots without any scarring. And the Night pads are incredible (although I can’t use them too often they are quite harsh) they just make your skin feel so much smoother overnight and they are so much better than using a harsh exfoliator with beads in.

I don’t honestly want to say how much I’ve actually washed my brushes because if I’m being honest it’s not enough but I’m proud of myself that I’ve washed them way more than usual this month and the weirdest thing but what has made it so much easier is the Sigma Brush Cleansing Mat. The main reason I love it so much is it takes over what your hands would do whilst cleaning your brushes and I mean if I don’t have to get ridiculously wrinkly fingers whilst washing my brushes it’s a win for me.

The final thing is genuinely so random and I’m sorry but I’ve been so ill this month and the most used product of the month has been my Vics Vapor Rub… It’s helped my cough and sore throat and sniffly nose so much don’t ask me why I put it in here I just did ok!!

lol at this photo though! ^

What have you been loving in February? I’d love to know I love new recommendations!

Love Em xxx
