New Beauty Favs

Yes I know a few of these items aren’t technically new and have been popular online for a while but they’re all new additions to me and have quickly become my favourites. IMG_2032

I’ll start with my two new brushes because they were what I was most excited for when I ordered them from beautybay. I ordered the Morphe R0 and the Zoeva 126 Lux Cheek Finish Brush. I really wanted the powder brush from creme de la mer since I saw lots of people online using it but I couldn’t justify £50 on it (I KNOW!!) so I decided to order the Morphe R0 and its safe to say I absolutely love it! It’s so huge you can just powder your face in a matter of seconds and it’s so soft too. Can you tell I was on a bit of a rose gold kick seeing as I ordered the Zoeva 126 brush too. I got this because I’ve been into blush a lot recently (usually I’m just a bronzer and highlighter type of girl) and I realised I don’t actually own a blush brush. I was just using my contour brush which wasn’t the best when I forgot to wash it and ended up with a cool brown colour on the centre of my face! I’m not as impressed with it as I am my Morphe brush it’s quite small and compact so makes product go on quite heavy if you aren’t careful but I still love it.

Talking of blush I bought a new one from Zoeva in Gentle Touch. I only own one other blush that I use because like I said thats not really me. It’s very pigmented so I would use a light hand but I prefer that in a blush to not being able to get much product from it. It’s a really pretty pink colour perfect for a nice daytime summery look. (I feel like the picture below didn’t capture the true shade it’s lighter than shown).

I also picked up from beautybay the Laura Geller highlighter in gilded honey which I did not need because I have far too many highlighters but I don’t think theres such thing really. I didn’t think it would be as gold as it is but I love it anyway however I feel like I’ll need to have a banging tan and on holiday to use it and make it look better. On my current pale skin it looks a bit out of place but still one of my new favourites!!

Possibly my most favourite thing out of this entire blog post is the RCMA No Colour Powder. I’ve only used it a handful of times since having it but I can see why the online beauty community hyped up the product so much. Everyone has been on the Laura Mercier hype for so long and I love it too. But comparing the two now this RCMA powder does the same thing but it still makes my skin look like skin, it’s a lot less heavy and doesn’t look as cakey.

I’ve also been loving the Rimmel wake me up foundation and the Maybeline colour sensational matte lipstick in 930 Nude Embrace. I love the Rimmel foundation for every day wear it has a nice medium coverage. It’s not as full coverage as some foundations I own but it does cover my redness and I love the finish it’s radiant and dewy and with the RCMA powder it looks stunning! The lipstick is really beautiful it reminds me of honey love from MAC but with more brown tones in it. It’s pretty much the perfect nude lipstick but I do have to wear it with a lipliner which I don’t have to with Honey Love but that’s not the biggest problem to me.

Finally I used up one of my old cleansers and I was thinking about repurchasing it but whilst I was shopping about online out of the blue I purchased the Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber De-tox foaming cleanser. Because of this blog I constantly want to try out things that I haven’t before to give my opinion and I love cucumber scented things when it comes to skincare and I’m really starting to love using it, it foams up really nicely and really feels like my skin is squeaky clean after I’ve used it.

What are some of your favourite products of the moment? Anything I should try let me know?
